APHIS Authorizes Importation of Chilean Cranberries into the Continental U.S.

As your trusted Customs House Broker, we would like to advise you of the recent change APHIS made to their rules regarding the import of Chilean cranberries to the continental U.S.

On September 9, APHIS published a final notice in the Federal Register authorizing the importation of commercial consignments of cranberries into the continental United States from Chile.
As a condition of entry, the cranberry consignments must be accompanied by a phytosanitary certificate from the national plant protection organization (NPPO) of Chile and are subject to inspection upon arrival at U.S. ports of entry.
The Pest Risk Analysis conducted by APHIS identified no quarantine pests of concern.
